Is Liberia a Hub for Trafficking?

A must read, and please share!!!!

The next vigorous campaign to be added to the rape campaign is the campaign of discouraging our rural and urban dwellers to stop giving their kids to people to care and educate them!!! The sad part is that most of these kids who live with their own family members and none family members in urban cities are being abused, mistreated, used as breadwinners, and most of these kids are not being sent to school at all!!!

These family members or none family members go into the rural parts of our country under false impression that things are very well with them and that they are capable to take care of other people’s kids; whereas, the real truth here is that they are catching the hell in Monrovia and only want to use these kids to sell around or go on prostitution to support them!!! Even more, they are very cruel!!!!

This morning, I was called by a resident of the Soul Clinic Community where a little boy was mercilessly flogged by his paternal aunt n the community wanted to sweep this case under d rug n take d child back to his dad in d village without any medical care!!! I immediately contacted d Soul Clinic Police Depot where d child is in safe custody as we turn around to take him to d hospital n d aunt has also been arrested for child abuse!!! The li boy looks like someone who is hardly fed!!

Thanks to d resident who brought it to WORD’s attention this morning!! Right path chosen!!!! Let us immediately in every community report cases of rape , child abuse n molestation!!!!
