Economic Stability Will Curb Domestic Violence
Women in 3rd world countries are At-Risk when it comes to domestic violence for several reasons. One of the biggest reasons is Economic Inequality. Organizations have been formed all around the world to help empower women, by providing them with education, soft loans, childcare, agricultural opportunities etc. It is time that Liberian women begin to tap into those resources and find ways to sustain themselves and their families.
Let’s brainstorm ways that women can become economically stable in a Country like Liberia; so that love and relationships develop as a matter of love and not survival.
Let’s also keep in mind that traditional norms play a huge part in the way relationships and marriages develop in Liberia.
