Pledge to say NO to violence against women and girls!

The Diaspora Women for Change, Inc. was established to help foster connections with networks of women rights movements to achieve sustainable development through advocacy for the creation of safe communities for women and children in Liberia and global immigrant communities.

Our vision: creation of nonviolent communities and justice to protect the human rights, freedom and happiness of women and children everywhere.

Our mission: we are a positive result-oriented driving force in addressing violence and abuse against women and children by facilitating public awareness, providing psychosocial services, legal support, leadership empowering programs, and advocacy for survivors. Our global networking approach helps to fulfill this endeavor.

  • It’s horrifying to see our women and girls being raped and abused daily

  • "The most disheartening part is that most of these cases are against children; something must be done to stop this," says Liberia’s Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection Julia Duncan-Cassell.
